I am consistently impressed by the lovely array of damask patterns in the stationery world.   I just love this collection of damask borders in this monogram stamp kit at Embellish.

There are a few border options & the full alphabet in block letters.  This would be a great addition to a return address on your invitation envelope, or any wedding stationery.  Hint…might be fun to overlap two letters to represent the first letter for both you and your fiance.  And if you really want to go nuts, you could use embossing powder to give the monogram a raised finish!

Today a client of mine sent me the French Paper website.  She liked the patterned paper as an envelope liner option.  Brilliant.

French Paper offers everything from lovely damask patterns to paper dolls to a faux wood floor.  This very cool retro site is fun to shop as well…their gift section is fabulous.

And I second the idea to use these patterned papers as an envelope liner.  Be sure to order the “text” weight for this purpose.
