Photo Cards

Admittedly, I am a stationery snob…..I always love to receive a photo card….and some are definitely nicer than others.  You don’t need to break the bank to find a high quality photo card.  Oh, and it doesn’t need to be Christmas or New Year’s to send a photo card.  Mix it up a bit this year - send a Valentine card, a St. Paddy’s Day card, or a friend of mine sends out their family card for their favorite Finnish holiday, St. Uhro’s Day.  And of course, a new addition to the family is always a fabulous occasion to send a little something to your loved ones.

Here are my favorite places to order photo cards:

Peace, Joy, Cheer!

Wouldn’t it feel great to have your holiday cards ready, stuffed addressed and stamped…just waiting for the day they can be mailed!  A feeling I must admit, I’ve never had.  Maybe this year.

So get moving.  Make those holiday cards.

Some fun holiday card & party invitation ideas….

  • Use scented paper from Porridge Papers.  During the holidays they sell candy cane scented handmade paper.  It’s amazing.  And they’ll make it with sparkles upon request!
  • Attach your photo to your cardstock with a cinnamon stick (like this chopstick invitation by Cardgirl).  You just need a hole punch, some ribbon or yarn, and a package of cinnamon sticks.  Mmmm.  Yum.

Between Paper.com & Paper Source, you should be able to find all of the materials you need to make adorable holiday cards.  Oh and I know we all love a little discount…so use this!

Or if you’re a busy bee, and just want to personalize them but not “make” them….here are some of my favorite holiday photo cards - upload your own photo to their design, and customize your message.

About Cardgirl DIY (Do It Yourself)

As a custom invitation designer (owner of Cardgirl Custom Invitations), I have spent the past five years of my life perfecting the process of bringing custom designs to print. There have been many bumps along the way, and I’m pretty sure I learned everything the hard way. I decided my experiences are most valuable if shared. So here I am to tell you how to most efficiently create your own gorgeous invitations. xo, Cardgirl
